WORST BIKING INJURY: Other than the occasional ego bruising that goes with the sport, crashing in the rock section on the Jedi Super D was by far the worst tumble I've taken, though the sprain to my thumb during Training week stills plagues me occasionally....
INJURY DETAILS: Damage to most of the soft tissue surrounding my right knee, super bruised ego (I think I was the only person who crashed on the course) and a full week off of the bike.

PERSONAL GOALS FOR THE RACE SEASON: Increase fitness, speed and bike handling skills. Crash less. Have more fun (if that is possible). Be helpful and encouraging to the younger riders on the team and work with them on setting and achieving their goals. Do more in our local community to both assist in team ministry and build a more bike friendly community. Race hard and hopefully place well.
ANY OTHER INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT YOU: Secretly desire to be a pro bowler. All of these high risk sports really scare me; really, really, scare me. Due to my ADHD condition, have to ingest massive quantities of caffeine throughout the day to stay focused. Even then, I usually just end up wanting to take LONG naps.

WORST BIKING INJURY: Went down hard at 26 MPH on my brand new road bike (first ride)when I crossed a diagonal rail road track in Merlin, Oregon.
INJURY DETAILS: Broke the joints between the ribs and cartilage in my left chest in both the front and back at multiple levels. Was off my new bike for a month. The bike was OK though.

INJURY DETAILS: I suffered a concussion, a gash from the hood ornament that required stitches in my arm, and a beat up bike. The driver of the car never stopped or looked back.
